On November 29 of this year, a Memorandum of cooperation was signed between JSC "SEZ "Seaport Aktau" and JSC "Kazazot". By signing the memorandum, an agreement was reached on the implementation of a project for the construction of an ammonia-urea complex for the production of ammonia - 660 thousand tons per year; nitric acid - 395 thousand tons per year; urea - 577 thousand tons per year; ammonium nitrate - 500 thousand tons per year on the territory of the SEZ "Seaport Aktau". During the meeting, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "SEZ Seaport Aktau" A.T. Kabashev familiarized with the activities of the SEZ, noting the importance of further development of the region by creating new production facilities. In turn, the General Director of Kazazot JSC, A.A. Mauleshev, familiarized with the plans for the further development of the project, noting the special interest in its implementation on the territory of the SEZ, taking into account the instruments of state support for investors. Following the meeting, the parties started the practical implementation of the agreements reached.
